INTRO to ZBrush

Students will be introduced to the interface and workflow so they may incorporate ZBrush into their artistic pipeline. This hands-on course will cover the process of generating organic digitial sculpting in ZBrush and importing and exporting geometry with created displacement, bump or normal maps.
• Start off creating a base mesh, using Maya/Max • Cover the basics of Z Brushes UI • Utilize the brushes,taking full advantage of the robust brush settings • Effectively working with your imported mesh with the help of poly-groups and layers

In this three day course, you will learn the building blocks of Maya: Day 1:
- ins and outs of the Maya interface
- model a scene with polygons and NURBS

- create a simple rig for an object from your modeled scene
- learn setting keys for an animation
- create an animation using keys and the trax editor
